Our most complete route, for travellers with three full weeks and the wish to see all of it.
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, just a short drive from Negombo itself, which makes it a natural first stop rather than pushing straight on to the hill country or the south. Negombo's own beach and lagoon are close by, and the town's Dutch-era canal system and fish market are an easy, low-key way to shake off a long flight before the rest of the journey begins.
